The Cake IS the Dessert!

Don’t be pushed into offering both dessert and wedding cake.

While the wedding cake may serve as a beautiful centerpiece it can also be a delicious dessert.  It’s a common misconception that no one eats the cake anyway.  Well how can they when they’ve been stuffed with Mint Chocolate Brownies.  If you eliminate dessert from the menu it will leave your guests sweet tooth unsatisfied.  This way when the cake is cut everyone will want to have a piece of your wedding cake.  This will also solve the problem of what to do with the huge amount of cake that can be left over.

If it is going to be a long time between the end of dinner and the cutting of the cake you can place chocolate mints on the table or have chocolate covered strawberries if you budget will allow.

Take the money that you’ve saved from dessert and put it into making your cake larger.  It will be a bigger centerpiece and your guests will be more excited about it when you get ready to cut it.  After all you have spent hundreds of dollars on this cake.  Make sure that it is beautiful, tasty, and appreciated by your guests.

Couture Specialty Cakes makes cakes that are beautiful and taste great. Email Our Bakers to set up a consultation.
